Dudley
Ladies Moon and Bra-ve the PubsOn
October 20th, Dudley Ladies showed off their bras in order to raise money for research into breast cancer
on a night-time “moon walk” around Wombourne.
Volunteers set off from the New Inns Pub in Station
Road and called in at all the pubs and chip shops in the village to
collect donations from the diners and drinkers in what turned out to be "a night of fun"
Pam Edmunds writes :-
Oh What a night !!!! Couldn't think of a better
way to spend a Friday night.
BRA-vo ladies - a fantastic turn out young
and old ,
lots of boobies , lots of fun , lots of singing , Lots of monies raised
( with a little bit of wine along the way ! )
The Mayoress was there to start us off , great
atmosphere and a memorable experience. We met some lovely generous people and those
that didn't have any money gave us some of their chips! Heard some emotional
stories by folk who have been affected by breast cancer which reminded
us what we were there for .
The pool bar didn't know what had hit them or what
they were potting by the time we had left but such a very generous crowd
of people as was most of the pubs we visited the Cricket club & the New
Inns were most welcoming .
Thanks to the organisers as was probably a nightmare
to keep track of around 60 busty bra showing broads prancing & singing &
knocking on doors around Wombourne.
I for one will certainly be back again next year to
help this very worthy cause as will all the other Dudley Ladies who
enjoyed it immensely.See you next year
Wombourne !
