The Bells Ring Out For Dudley Ladies
Following on from last weeks Badger Bite a lot of the ladies had
obviously not learnt their lesson again and took on the even more demanding Bells
of Pattingham run on Sunday 14th October.
The race comprised of hills, mud, ploughed fields, mud, long grass, mud,
a bit of road and oh yes.......mud but having said that, conditions were
surprisingly good.
First home for the club was Carrie Creamer, followed by Gina Collins and
Melanie Hodges.
Other not able, sorry, that should read notable, performances were put in
by Gina Ponting, Ann Pedley, Sally Goodman, Jayne Morley, Jan Brookes, Jacky
Fellows, Sue Hutton, Gloria Bell, Irene Evans and race virgin Zoe Ratten
together with the others too numerous to mention.
